Avinash Purandare honoured as the ‘Maha - Intrapreneur 2010

Avinash Purandare - Vice President Corporate Global Marketing & Stragety is honoured as the ‘Maha - Intrapreneur 2010.

The awards are instituted by Praj in association with Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM) Pune, who are the knowledge partners in this initiative. This award is the first of its kind in India.
Out of a batch of highly qualified and motivated contestants, six most promising ‘Intrapreneurs’ have been selected by a distinguished jury panel. The Maha-Intrapreneur awards aim at identifying and rewarding
professionals who display ‘Intrapreneural’ skills and qualities in their actions and results in their respective organizations.

The awards will be presented in a gala award function on December 18th, 2010 at the hands of Chief Guest Arun Nanda, Director, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. in the presence of Kishor Chaukar, Managing Director, Tata Industries Limited

KBL Corporate Office 'Yamuna' won prestigious International Award

Venkataramanan Associates (VA) has won the prestigious Emerson Cup Award, 2010 in the New Buildings Category for the 140,000 sft. Kirloskar Brothers Corporate Office - Yamuna, at Baner in Pune.


This is also the first LEED Platinum certified building in Pune, the apex certification in green and sustainable buildings. The Emerson Cup Award is further recognition of the innovation and energy efficient design that VA has used in the architectural and building engineering systems for this corporate office.

KBL won Gold Award for - Technology Excellence in HR

CHRM&C team has been declared winner of Gold Award for “Technology Excellence in HR” by Greentech Foundation, Delhi. We were adjudged as best in Gold category.

The award and trophy was received by Ms. Mohini Kudtarkar on behalf of KBL during Greentech HR Conference recently held at Goa.

We feel proud of this recognition and it will be a motivation to us to move even further in Business Excellence.

Best Pavilion Award

KBL's stall, admeasuring 78 Sq. Meters at the 'Pumps, Valves and Compressors Expo', Mumbai was voted as the Best Pavilion by visitors. The event was held from 6th to 9th May 2010, at Bombay Exhibition Centre.

The Power of Safety

KBL’s power sector is conferred with a Certificate of Appreciation and a Trophy by National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) (Sipat) for adopting best safety practices during execution of Stage II CW system package for 2 x 500 MW units.

Vilas Ghadge received the award from Jaideb Nanda, General Manager NTPC, Sipat Project on 4^th March, 2010, during the function organized for observing the 39^th National Safety Day

Cascade - House Magazine won ICE Award

Cascade - House magazine of Kirloskar Brothers Limited won Gold Award for In-house Communication Excellence. On behalf of KBL, Ms. Pallavi Kharade, Managing Editor received the honour.
The award consist of Cash Prize of Rs. 51,000/- a Cristal trophy & a certificate of excellence.

Sanjay Kirloskar being awarded as Green Leader

Amanora Park Town (The township being developed by City Corporation Ltd.) in association with ALERT, an NGO for the cause of creating awareness on global warming recently hosted an event to celebrate World Environment Day.

The Green Leader Award 2010 was presented to Sanjay Kirloskar for his excellent contribution in preserving environment.
